Squeaky Clean
So this week I received a package from the company K Bar Soap. Normally I really hate different organic soaps unless they are from Lush because they usually smell funny. However, I do have to say the soap we received smells absolutely amazing. When I first opened up my package mail box I got a whiff of a unique but familiar scent. I think it is pretty obvious that this soap is mainly made specifically for men. However, with that being said I think females could totally use this soap too if they wanted too. Especially if you’re a female that isn’t into the fruity tropical smells.
The soap we received is named “Cash Sales”. I do not think there is a specific way to name its scent. It does smell like a mainly scent, and its ingredients are basically natural ingredients. A few were lavender powder, which it definitely does not smell girly at all, palm oil, shea butter etc. I mentioned on my story that this was a familiar scent because my mom always mixed different candles and oils scents that were similar to these.
Now down to the good stuff. For those of you who do not know yet. My husband is a marine, and he is a welder. With that being said you have to keep in mind that Dillon is basically this semi mostly pale Irish man, who has a farmer’s tan. He leaves the house at 4:00am looking pale as can be and comes home at 6:00pm black as can be. Literally I find metal shavings all over his ears, in his hands, random burn marks on him. The whole nine yards. Dillon literally has to shower every single day, if not he would turn my white sheets black which is so not okay.
Dillon has been using this soap since Monday, and let’s just say he gets clean. Normally he has to wash himself two or three times before he even gets fully clean, using the processed regular bar soap that you can buy from target for like $6. Instead with this soap he literally only used it once, he also uses it in the mornings to shave his beard as well instead of his shaving butter. He was actually excited that for once I received a package in the mail that was something for him to try and use. Dillon ending up loving the scent of the soap and the fact the grenade design portion of the soap made it easier to grip. Along with the soap was package very well. It came in a small box filled with what I call confetti paper. The soap came in a cup koozie. Once out of the cup koozie the soap was inside a little brown drawstring bag with a dog tag with its name on it. The packaging was by far one of the better packing layouts that I have received. The package also contained a sticker which of course like I stated on my Instagram story, as soon as my husband saw it he stated he was putting it on his welding helmet.
A little bit about the company itself. K Bar Soap Company is a veteran ran and operated company. It is based out of South Carolina. The company does not just sell soap but also hair and beard care products for men too. However, I believe the Grenade Soap is the best-selling item they have, but I could be wrong! The founder of the company took his own experience and sayings that were burned into his memory to create such unique names for a soap.
Also, just a heads up with the holidays coming up right around the corner and any products from this company would be great stocking stuffers! I am planning on probably buying some soap for my husbands stocking but don’t tell him that! It can be our little secret… He also saw on a card that came in the package that the company has pomade (like a hair gel) so now he is begging me to get that for him to try, but certain hair gels do not work with his hair so we will have to see about that.
