Cashing in on Life

People ask me all the time how I have so much money. Honestly, it is not that I have a ton of money it actually is mainly simple…we save. To be short it is just a few things 1. know how to budget 2. spend your money wisely 3. invest your money. Grant it there are other things that I have done to help increase our bank account but these mainly are the three. However, I will go over a few other ways one day in another post.

I honestly hate spending money. Which can be a pro and a con at the same time but for me that is okay. I love saving money and you can ask my husband I am a control freak when it comes to finances. I control all of the bank accounts, and you guessed it I control all bill payments along with basically anything else that has to do with money.

Moving on to budgeting, I will keep it short and simple. If you do not know anything about budgeting than you can head over to here and learn how to make your budget. If you need help just reach out to me on a social media site!

As for spending your money wisely well that is all up to you. Your choices dictate what happens to your finances. Think about what you are buying. Are you really going to use it? Have you been eating out way too much? Can you cut down on going out? And if you do go shopping use coupons or discounts. Again you can find a list of places that offer military discount here and find out why I use/ask for military discount just about everywhere we go. Or you can check this blog out which explains how I save money when I decide to go shopping!

In the end though you do want to have some sort of investment happening. As for me I love being able to access banks and other accounts on my phone any time I want to. With that being said I have the Robinhood App which allows me to invest anywhere at any time.

You can download the app by clicking here!

From this app I can see how the stock market is doing and decided if I need to pull my investments out and trade or if I want to keep adding to them. All it takes is a few simple clicks. The best part about this app is they are starting a micro investment section for those who have never invested before. This means you can invest as little as $1 currently.

I personally invest in mainly companies I believe in and also use.

Lastly, do not just invest in the stock market. Invest in so much more. Invest in yourself or spouse by using the TSP program. Invest in memories. Maybe you do need that vacation. But maybe you will save up for it by budgeting, then you will finally invest in it.

You do not have to live a paycheck by paycheck life. You can own your finances and make your dreams become your reality. With a little bit dedication and a lot of hard work you will get there.

Cash in and invest in your life, after all it is your life no one else.
