The Box
I have been looking for new hair products to try out. Luckily, MARAJÓ sent me some products. They ended up sending me a 4-piece box in the mail. The first item in the box was the cleansing crème. This is like a shampoo and is meant to replace your shampoo as well. I will say I was shocked by how clean my hair felt with this product. It does not get super bubbly like shampoo does when you massage it into your scalp. However, there are some suds. It also felt very light and clean on my hair and did not seem to leave any type of residue behind.
The second item was the Deep Treatment Butter. I absolutely love this product! I ended up using it two different ways. Every time I shower, I apply a small amount to the ends of my hair. Along with that once a week I will damp my hair and then apply the Deep Treatment Butter to all of my hair and then I throw it up in a bun to sit in. After a few hours of the Deep Treatment Butter sitting in my hair I then would hop into my shower and rinse it all out.
After a week of using these two products alone I noticed a difference in my hair. My curls looked so much more alive. Along with that my hair looks a lot healthier and shinier. MARAJÓ’s hair products all have Pracaxi oil in it from an island in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon which helps restore and cleanses the hair. By the way the island is called MARAJÓ as well! The Pracaxi oil is known by many natives for its soothing and healing properties.
The last two items were the 3-N-1 Finishing Spray and the Blow Out Styling Crème. The Finishing Spray can be applied to dry or damp hair. It is mainly meant for the roots of your hair. Applying this to the roots helped with lifting the hair and adding some volume at the roots which then ties into the Blow Out Styling Crème. This crème protects your hair against heat and damage. Along with that I noticed that the crème also is preventing my hair from breaking, it acts as a detangler, as well as it helps to condition it more.
All together this is so far the best hair products that I have used, and I have used a lot in my past! I am sad now as I am slowly starting to run out of the Deep Treatment Butter. The shampoo has lasts me a long time. I feel as if barely of it is even missing from the bottle because you do not need a lot. Plus, I only shampoo my hair every 3 days, unless I worked out.
