First thing first. Once you arrive to Okinawa you do have more than ten (10) days of TLA. You can have up to thirty (30) days if approved. You just have to submit for TLA every ten (10) days. You also will collect per diem as usual, but also you also request dislocation allowance which many people do not know about. If you HHG is running late by more than seven (7) days from the expected day of arrival then that is when you can put in a request in for the dislocation allowance.

  • Send Military Orders to usmilitaryerr@t-mobile.com , by doing this it will allow your account not to be closed. Normally you can only use your phone plan for 90 days straight outside the US before T-Mobile can cancel your plan due to the fact the plan is not made for abroad. However with orders on file you can use your phone outside the US for however long your orders state.
    • In the email send a) your order b) phone numbers associated with the account c) name on the account d) relation the account holder has to the military
  • Japan Plan for $5 is only offered to Sprint customers who had it BEFORE T-Mobile took over Sprint. Therefore you have to be grandfathered in.
  • Regular Military plan allows FREE unlimited Texting and Data, calling costs $.25/min unless you are using Wi-Fi calling. You could also download a call/text app and call from the app which then would only use data and be FREE still.
  • International (AKA “Global”) Plan is $50 PER line

Expressway you can get an ETC reader it is a toll road. Fee’s are taken from the account once every month towards the end. Exit 3 and 4 can get backed up.
