Witching Season

We actually haven’t celebrated the Halloween season since being together. Every year our lease would end at the end of October, therefore, we could never throw a party of anything. But that is about to change! Luckily now that we own our house in California we can now host parties! That means we can finally have a Halloween party. I am only obsessed with parts of Halloween. I don’t care for pumpkins, spice, and candy. I honestly do not enjoy those as much as you think I would. And hey that’s okay. But I am sure you can guess what I am obsessed with for all those who know me personally and who have been following me for a while. All black décor, black clothing, and a few scary movies (I am really picky but I love me some witch movies). This time and Christmas time creates all sorts of feelings. For me personally it means new clothes I get to bust out that I normally wouldn’t wear (but still in black of course), snow, winter trips, fireplaces, loads of black (even more than normal (is that even possible), heavy home cooked meals, hot chocolate and so much more.

I have been holding off on ordering our Spirit Hoods coats for about two years now. But I was finally, finally, able to order them and I cannot wait to wear mine. On a side note I ordered them now because they are 25% off currently for Halloween, which is the same deal they had last Black Friday! So there honestly was no point in waiting until Black Friday this year. Black clothing gives me all sorts of feelings. It is my happy color. My comfort color. It means everything to me. You could say that come this season I get a little more Witchy. People even refer to me as my “witchy self”. I still wear a ton of black but it just means more black is coming into my life. Black suits me though, it is apart of me.

For now this is all I am letting you in on. You will have to stick around to see what is to come, and let me tell you, you will not want to miss it. Maybe I will even help you guys get your fall décor ready for the season! But it would be black suggestions. We shall see…
